I have been practicing family law since 1999. I have been involved in it since 1992. I offer a unique representation to my clients. I have been through divorce and that helps tremendously. I help you walk through the toughest times. There is nothing fun about family law, but I can help make it easier. There are so many things that you forget about, or think you don’t want. I help you sift through that. There are many ways to settle the matter and keep it out of court as much as possible and that is my goal. Collaborative Law
This is a new area of law that allows the parties to settle their matters completely out of court. This involves two attorneys, one for each party. The parties are separately represented and reach an agreement out of court which is then finalized. The parties agree in writing before proceeding that they will settle out of court and if they later change their mind they must seek other representation. This is usually half the cost of a dissolution and is much easier for all involved.
Juvenile Dependency
There are very few attorneys that represent parties in this court. Usually the court appoints a Public Defender for the parties. I have been working in the Juvenile Dependency Courts since approximately 1992 and have a tremendous amount of experience in every area of this type of law. Adoption
This is the most exciting area that I practice. I handle private as well as agency adoptions. I also handle step parent adoptions.

I write Wills, Trusts, Durable Power of attorneys and all documents regarding Advance Directives, and those required for hospitals, nursing homes, etc.
